Field Notes

Description:

This little guy was foraging for food close to the swamp (at Lake Bistineau). He was rather large for being a male squirrel.

Habitat:

Tree-Dweller.

Notes:

I made chirping noises at him from about 10 yards away and he actually came right up to me.

Interesting that is the kind I see in Northern IN, but not in Florida!. Maybe he decided this winter he would be a "Snowbird"
