Oh no, you're not wrong! I've recently read quite a bit about the Jurong Bird Park and find it a fascinating place; and so close to the city. (I have friends that will be traveling in the area and have been making a list of potential activities based on PN spottings in the area.) Thanks for the details. In the future you can add the particulars of where you spot organisms in the Habitat field. I've done a bit of a search of woodpeckers, without much luck. Beautiful series of the beautiful bird.

This is a new one for me. It looks very much like a woodpecker, but that could be far off the mark for an Asian species. I see that you've added this spotting to the Urban Biodiversity Mission (and that the bird is banded). Could you give us more details about where you saw this this bird?
