Description:

What a surprise! No butterflies today! I got me a prize! DUH! It looks like the wheel bug had a prize too, some kind of bee. HA!

Habitat:

Meadow in the Poconos.

Found 2 wheel bugs in this position. I was surprised too! I have seen those spiders in action from the very beginning. I have seen butterflies, grasshoppers, moths, and bees wrapped in less than 2 seconds.
Whoa, what a find! That is a contest I would wonder who would win - now I don't have to! I'm surprised the wheel bug didn't stab the spider.
I'm happy your butterflies had a day off though!
I would have thought the wheel bug would be a bit too crunchy for the spider!
