Description:

• Marathi: मोठा कवला Motha Kawla

Bristly Smithia is a bristly erect annual herb, growing up to 1-1.5 m high. Leaves abruptly pinnate, 5-10 cm long. Stalkless leaflets occur in 4-7 pairs, and are 2-4 cm, oblong. Flowers form a large panicle. Flowers are 1.5-2 cm, bright yellow, with two red spots near the base. Flowering: October.
