Description:

Eats fruits but more seeds. Lives in large groups, sometimes more than 30 animals.

Habitat:

This monkey can be found near Solimões River (Amazonas State) specially in the Sustanable Development reserve Mamirauá, where is almost endemic.

This subspecie is endemic from that reserve and surrondings.The genus Cacajao occurs in South American Amazon
