congratulations bayucca on 4000 ID suggestions, remarkable achievement!
You will be surprised! It is a Pieridae butterfly! It is either Pereute callinice or Pereute callinira. They are not distinguishable without the native specimen. You are lucky, this is my ID #4000! http://www.butterfliesofamerica.com/L/pereute_c_callinira.htm http://www.butterfliesofamerica.com/L/pereute_c_callinice.htm
Have you looked at the Crescent (Melitaeini) butterflies? http://neotropicalbutterflies.com/Site%20Revision/Pages/FamilyLists/NymphalidSubFamilyListBN/Nymphalinae_True_Brushfoots.html
