Description:

They are very thick and small. They look like catibiliters. It has about 24 legs.

Habitat:

Since I found them in my pool I am going to say that is where their habitat is.

There are not 24 legs ... i just see 6, maybe you are talking about the "body segments" (or metameres) by the way its a Beetle larvae (white grub larvae) the adult may be any scarab beetle such as May Beetles, Green June Beetle, etc, anyways the adult surely will be large.
