Heraclides Toante Linnaeus, 1771

King Swallowtail or Thoas Swallowtail

Heraclides thoas

Comments (1)

Scientific name is Thoas not Toante. Toante is the Italian or Spanish name of Thoas an antique and famous figure from Greek mythology and furthermore a figure in several operas from Gluck and Handel, which are often sung in Italian. Please, put the correct name in the scientific field and update your other spotting where you got some IDs. Thanks!
