Otters fur is much more slick and streamlined also they swim with more of their body underwater and their head further up, i definatly think it look like a muskrat, and yes it is a duck in one photo =)
Their hind feet are semi-webbed, and they cause extensive damage to dams and canals! still very cute!!
Looks like it could be a Round Tail Muskrat found only in Florida and Georgia Neofiber alleni
That third picture, where it's swimming along side the duck, is really great!
