Description:

A Variegated Fritillary butterfly feeding on Marigold flowers (Tagetes sp.). [Can someone confirm that I've correctly identified the butterfly shown in the preceding photo?] The still photo (1 of 2 items) is a video frame grab, cropped and rotated to highlight the butterfly; the video clip (2 of 2 items) is the source of the still photo.

The flower is definitely a variety of Marigold. Not sure about the butterfly ID, looks similar but I'm not sure about bright white band.
