Description:
Spotted preying on a sweat bee (Halictus confusus). Adults feed on nectar, but provide their nests with bees at the time of egg laying. Sweat bees are favored by many species.
Habitat:
Spotted on Sedum ‘Autumn Joy’ (Sedum telephium).
