Field Notes

Description:

Yellow and red-brown moth about 1.5 cm long. The long pectinate antennae are held under the wings (last picture). Family Geometridae.
A variant of this species was spotted again in November of 2018, see spotting http://www.projectnoah.org/spottings/1853158274/fullscreen.

Habitat:

Came to an ultraviolet light in the garden, San Cristobal de Las Casas, 2,200 meters.
