Description:

Small owl,about 23 cm, and weight about 170gr. found from Mexico to Costa Rica, this picture shows a juvenile in the nest, and a second one is seen in the upper right.( jut the beak)
They feeds on insects and small vertebrates, and they are found in dry and rain forest.

Habitat:

Dry and Rain forest.
