Field Notes

Description:

Very thin, ALL purple damselfly, including the wings and eyes, with an extremely shiny abdomen tip.

Habitat:

Found in the marshes south of town.

Notes:

We are trying to get the most accurate names possible for our specimens, but there are several varieties, so if anyone has another suggestion, please let us know!
