Field Notes

Description:

Some 15 mm long and flat shield-bug, predominantly bronze brown. It sports red legs and large 'shoulders'. They also have black-and-cream marking on edges of abdomen, while the tip of the scutellum is light red-brown.

Habitat:

Seen in our apartment, bordering a meadow and close to a local deciduous forest. It is also close to town center. The town is located in a lowland in between Jura and Alps mountains, suburbs of Geneva and an agricultural zone.
