Field Notes

Description:

This spot - in a semi-dry riverbed near Angel Peak, NM - is clearly very popular with coyotes. I found multiple piles of scat along with lots of footprints. The droppings are were left over a period of time, and show the coyote's varied diet. Lots of juniper berries, fur, and some small bones.
