Large, shrubby bush found on the edge of a wetland. Has large, cranberry-sized berries and narrow yellow leaves.

large rose hips? no they are usually this size... I´ll have to upload one in my garden . it has the size of a cherry (I admit it is a culivated ornamental rose - a hybrid)
That's what I was thinking, but those are some of the largest rosehips I've ever seen! We'll check it out when things warm up to see the roses in bloom....
