Description:

"It's a bird. It's a plane. No it's a caterpillar that looks like a plane." The cool, long green and yellow with black "eyes" caterpillar of the Goldenrod Hooded Owlet Moth. It looks very comfortable and very pretty in the Small White Aster flowers.

Habitat:

Meadow in the Poconos

Thank you! I love my caterpillars. They don't fly away like butterflies and moths although this one looked ready for take-off. HA! LOL!
