Field Notes

Habitat:

I believe this plant is indigeneous to Sumatra and is commonly found in the vicinity of lake Toba.

Notes:

This is a Nepenthes plant a.k.a a monkey cup, the largest pitcher at the moment is about 15 cm long and I think the plant is still young as it's only just started to shoot out new stems.

No I'm still letting it grow in a pot hanging under out lapa to see how it does, before I'll consider putting it in the garden.
