Description:

This is the second butterfly like this that I have spotted, unfortunately both were in the road after being hit by something passing. By the time I returned with my camera to photograph this one the ants were already feasting on it. Such beautiful colours.

This is an Elymnias and not Euripus nyctelius.
Thanks AGAIN! I see that the Status for this butterfly is Endangered in Singapore. I guess if they keep getting hit by passing vehicles like the two I've spotted they will soon be extinct : ( Such beautiful markings and colours
