Based on the scales, this is probably a Cyathea but without seeing more details, it's difficult to be sure or get anywhere near species. Nice photo. I love seeing tree fern fronds at this stage. Like something waiting to show you the magic it has clenched in its hand!
That's cool! It almost looks like a caterpillar wrapped around a flower/seed. Amazing design. I do like it a lot!
