Notes:
wow !!! what a day this has been!!!!Could'nt imagine rescuing an Eurasian Scops owl. This is the only owl i have captured on my camera ,and ended up rescuing it too.
We (myself ,Satyen Mehta and a common friend of ours) were out on our routine birding trip this morning when I happened to spot this little owlet sitting on a branch. We started photographing it as usual, and tried to get closer to it to get a better shot.As we got near it we realized that it wase'nt flying away as it had got one of its wings entangled on the thorny branch. We along with a local guy managed to rescue it.It surely was a long ordeal but finally we and the owl made it....
