Greater Green Leafbird (female)

An endangered bird species feeding on a uncommon wild fig. Leafbirds are named for their green colour which blends in very well among the leaf foliage in the canopy. There is dimorphism where the males have blackish heads and the females are fully green. Epiphytic figs needed birds like these to help disperse the seeds onto other host trees.
