Field Notes

Description:

Pacific Swallows eat insects, catching them during flight. To feast on swarming insects, they may join other birds like Swifts. They perch and wait, then actually chase after individual prey and perform aerial acrobatics to catch them.

Habitat:

Common along coasts, in towns and open country, rarely over forest.

Notes:

Spotted this guy perched on a water measuring post in Singapore Quarry
