White ginger lily (Hedychium coronarium)? I have some planted in the backyard.
unfortunately, I didn't get a picture of the leaves...I thought I had written down the name of the plant! Guess I'll just have to go back...
any photos of the leaves. in costa rica we have one very similar which is in the ginger family. they call it here jasmin del rio which means jasmine of the river. it would be difficult that they are the same because of the latitude difference unless you spotted this in a botanical garden
