Description:

The Earthworm is a soft bodied animal with no legs. It is long and segmented. They burrow into the ground. In Vermont, we have snow, but a warmer day melted some of it just enough for a few worms to come-up and move along the top of the snow. I like this image because you can see inside the Earthworm.

Habitat:

Soil.
