Field Notes

Description:

Fat squirrels with a light, creamy belly and a gray-ish back with a brown tinge spread across, and a brown face. These squirrels were numerous, ant not at all bothered by the cold or by the presence of humans.

Habitat:

Boston Common.

A big, open park in the middle of a big city. Many a tree and bush to run up or hide in, many a companion to chase around, and plenty of people to help supplement the diet with nuts, popcorn, etc.
