Description:
Tall, green-topped palm trees. Most had trunks nearly-covered by a long, long coat of dead fronds. Most of these trees were around 50ft (around 15 meters) tall.
Habitat:
These trees are at the Lost Palms Oasis in Joshua Tree National Park. There is both a lower section and upper section of the oasis, and both had an extended strand of fan palm that lined the pools of water.
The area was very hot and dry.
