Description:

I will not bore you with the hundreds of photos I took of about 50 of these banded beauties. But this October one was beautiful! (Also known as White-backed Garden Spider) Most in the meadow had an abdomen size of about 1/2 - 1 inch. This one was probably closer to 1 inch.

Yeah, one of my guides calls the Argiope trifasciata the banded garden spider, however the picture is actually much different...
