Almost all summer I tried for one. I got a few OK, it is because it is the middle of fall. They were out because it was more mild but they are slowing down.
Great detail Carol. As Karen said, grasshoppers are tough subjects once they become adults!
Great series Carol! We get loads of these guys in our meadow too but they are not good at hanging around for photo calls!
