Wow! This is a beautiful Krider's Red-tailed Hawk (Buteo jamaicensis kriderii). They are a casual vagrant to Oklahoma, I believe. A couple have shown up all the way here in Georgia. http://www.dyesscreek.com/miscellaneous_pages/kriders.html
It kind of looks like a goshawk except for that really pale head.
I thought so too! I think it's some kind of hawk, but not sure which kind, the head was almost completely white, but it has a stripped tail.
What a beautiful bird. The whole series is good, and it's great to see it in flight, but the first picture really stands out.
