Common bird found on rottnest Island. Less common and declining on mainland Australia due to predation from the introduced fox and cat.

Thanks, we also have the Masked Lapwing here, the banded lapwing is the less common of the two
cool spotting!! we have the red wattled variety in abundance out here in this season..
