Field Notes

Description:

Tall, thin plant with many arms growing skyward. Some of the tips had red blossoms on them, but not many.

Habitat:

Joshua Tree National Park on the path to the Lost Palms Oasis. The desert was hot and dry, though there had been snow the day before in the area.
