Description:

The ornamental variegated red hibiscus has red petioles and leaves of contrasting green and white variegation. Its red flowers are ephemeral, lasting only 24-48 hours. The last photo was taken a few days before the rest.

Habitat:

This spotting is an ornamental growing in a semi-urban garden. Climate is equatorial/tropical.

This is a variegated plant but this is by no means a "rare color morph" for this variety of Hibiscus.
