Field Notes

Description:

Kai is a rescued Cattle/Collie or a Shetland Sheepdog (Sheltie).

We were told when we adopted her that she was a sheltie but we started to doubt that as she grew. I later found a little tag in her paperwork that said Cattle/Collie. I guess an Australian Cattle Dog (Blue Healer) http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Australian_Cattle_Dog and Collie mix. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rough_Collie (???) So she's probably not a sheltie, but who knows.

Habitat:

She was adopted from a shelter in South Carolina while we were vacationing, staying with relatives. She was a skinny little stray and very sickly. She's healthy now, lives and plays in Florida and is quite a rascal.

Notes:

I can't resist any longer. I have to share my pups.

Collie!! i love collies!!! they are realy pretty
Liam, Loyal is a good description for Shelties. My oldest follows me to every room I go. Sorry Max is loosing his senses. I wish we could keep them young (and ourselves too).
Aww. She's so adorable! Looks like my Max, also a Shetland Sheepdog. We've had him for twelve years now, and he's still as loyal, friendly, and innocent as he always was. Sadly, he has lost a lot of his senses.
Sweet captures of a sweet puppy!
