I guess you are correct. But my estimate is that from the end of its claw to the end of its sting, this scorpion would be around 10-11 inches long. I was really huge
No doubt a big specimen, but 30.5cm (1 foot)? I think the largest recorded species in the world may only be 2/3 of that length.
I am not certain as to how dangerous these are, although I know for a fact that they are venomous. But they lack pace unlike their smaller species. Very slow moving and huge scorpion. I have come across just 3 in the last 2 years
Are these very common where you live? How dangerous are they? I can not imagine how scarry to run across one of these at a foot long.
