Description:

I had seen other snake-flies in the area, but this one had a little different color. After researching, I realized it was a stigmatic snakefly. Pictured here ontop of some Dakota sandstone.

Habitat:

Southern Colorado, foothills, south of the Spanish Peaks. Pinon and ponderosa tree mix.
