Description:

This wasp was standing on a frostbitten rabbitbrush plant, in a very odd position. It was well under half an inch long.

Thanks Kristal and shyamece. :) I just added it to the Pollinator Bugs mission. As for the camera question, I use a Canon Rebel body with a Tamron 60mm macro lens.

Thanks Atul and Kristal. And thanks for the ID Kristal - it looks exactly right! The only Ichneumon wasps I've seen before have been large, with long tails, so I never would have pegged this one. :)
