Field Notes

Description:

Brown, yellow and white dragonfly. There are brown and yellow stripes behind the eye. The sides of the thorax have white stripes with yellow dots at the ends. The abdomen has a colorful pattern all the way down. I have another spotting of this species with different coloration at: http://www.projectnoah.org/spottings/7952290

Habitat:

On a Cape Honeysuckle branch in the backyard

Notes:

Unfortunately it flew away before I could get a shot of the top to show the abdomen's pattern.
