Description:

Common name: Tiger Lily. Asia native. Eastern U.S. naturalized. Zones: 3-9. Height: 2-6 feet. Spread: 9-12 inches. Bloom time: July. This species can host a virus so it is best planted far away from other Lillium species to avoid possible transmission via contact and aphids.

Habitat:

Light: Sun - Part Shade. Water: Average. Native Habitat: Roadsides, woodland edges.
