Description:

Please help to categorize this spider, found it in Commonwealth Forest Park & Resort. With the leg spread out to 4 cm length. Native in Malaysia's jungle.

Hi martinl, I think it's a Opiliones tradition to have 7 legs because most (90%+) of my harvestmen spottings have one leg missing. You can see these phenomena in my spottings.

The group is called Opiliones and even though your specimen only has seven legs I think it still qualifies. BTW its a nice photograph
This is not a spider but another (eight legged) arachnid called a harvestman. They have one body segment and spiders have two.
