Description:
A "case" of a case moth (bagworm moth), family Psychidae. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Psychidae
Habitat:
Spotted on Cocos nucifera (coconut palm) in a large semi-urban yard/garden adjacent to a disturbed remnant patch of forest.
Notes:
The present spotting is at the opposite (inelegant) end of the architectural spectrum from a previous spectacular, nearby spotting http://www.projectnoah.org/spottings/7496513
