Description:
Shiny gold-brown moth shaped like an Egyptian Sarcophagus. From the side, the shoulders of the wings hide the head. Family Tortricidae? Pictures 3 and 4 were taken on 23 July 2015 in the same place. The Head and legs are banded in red and orange and are a surprise to see.
Habitat:
Came to an ultraviolet light in the garden, San Cristobal de Las Casas, 2,200 meters.
