Field Notes

Description:

Around 25cm, some smaller, some bigger than that. Belly is light grey/silver and the upper part is a greyish light brown. A golden spot can be seen between their eyes and front fin.

Habitat:

Found on the rocky part of the beach, some meters away from the coast, on low water.

Notes:

Sometimes, I wish I had a waterproof camera. They were so fast and shy and the light reflecting on the water made them so hard to see. I thought I hadn't captured any on camera...turns out I did!

Thanks for the suggestion, @StirredMocha, yet I'm unsure if that's correct. I'm not good with fishes, yet the Flathead Mullet doesn't seem to have the yellow spot between his eye and front fin like mine does. Still, with the use of your suggestion, I was able to find some "cousin species" and found the Golden Grey Mullet which appearance seems closer to mine...though as I said above, I'm no expert, so I'd need confirmation if that's the one or not.
