Field Notes

Description:

A bit of a chubby looking bird with a bright yellow belly and a white ring around the head. Many of these birds rested on the wall out behind my apartment - they were very twittery and not too afraid of humans nearby, thought I swear this one flycatcher did not want to face the camera for the longest time (I think he was playing with me).

Habitat:

Guatemala - sub-tropical zone. Pretty high up into the mountains to where the temperature gets pretty chill at night, but warm in the day. Afternoon rain and thunderstorms. Lots of lush greenery around.
