Description:

I am almost certain this is a type of Banded Argiope, but its shape is very unique. He is cool looking so I wanted to include him on this site. (Does he look like a Cone Head and he already wrapped his presents for Christmas.) HA!

Habitat:

Meadow in the Poconos

Notes:

White-backed Garden Spider

This one looks familiar. May have seen this. Thanks this helps identify.
This is my 36th spider I have uploaded since yesterday! Plus a few more the last week or so. I have a lot of spiders in my 2 acre meadow, although all is quiet now and have to wait until spring and summer. THANKS!
