Field Notes

Description:

Adult birds from most of region have dull olive-brown upperparts and pale yellow underparts with buff wash on flanks. Eastern birds generally greyer than Western birds and Iberian forms appear yellow-buff. All birds have black legs.

Habitat:

Favours woodland and scrub. Widespread passage migrant. Winter visitor to South of region and generally resident further North and inland.

It's a Leaf Warbler, most likely a Chiffchaff. I believe Willow Warbler doesn't have a conspicuous eyering like your bird shows.
