Description:

Very purple bloom sticking out of a thick mass of green leaves, so thick that it was hard to tell exactly where the stem of this flower led to.

Habitat:

This petunia was growing in the very wet, tree-covered part of the lower rim at the top of Volcan Mombacho. Tropical region at a cold, foggy altitude.

I wish I knew what this was but it's not an orchid.
