Wildlife Spotting

Plant moderately large; Golden brown-ochre with green markings in the capitulum; Capitulum strongly stellate; branch fascicles with 2 down-turned spreading branches and 2-3 pendant branches; Stem leaves lingulate, efibrilose, and aporose, 1 mm long; branch leaves strongly 5 ranked, 1-2mm, slightly secund, hyaline cells with pores along commisures, chlorophyllous neither exposed on convex or concave surface, but sometimes more slightly on convex surface. Stem cortex with 1 superficial layer, but other specimens had 1-2 layers.
