Description:

The fruit bodies are characterized by erect, elongated black branches with whitened tips. They are not poisonous but also not edible.
A variety of bioactive compounds have been identified in this fungus wih potent anti-tumor effects in various tumor cell lines.

Habitat:

It typically grows in clusters on decaying hardwood.

Yes, they are tiny also. I liked the black freckles on one of them :-)
